Three slow steps, one warm glow.

01

Melt

Warm the beeswax pellets in the pouring jug. The thermometer tells you exactly when it's ready.

02

Pour

Set your wick, then pour slowly into the mould. Watch the wax catch the light as it settles.

03

Set & light

Let it cure, ease it from the mould, and light your first glow. Then make another.

Why beeswax

A material with its own warmth.

Beeswax burns slow and golden, with a soft natural scent of its own. We keep it as a craft material — pellets, wicks and moulds — so the making stays in your hands. Roddenhoney is a registered New Zealand company; today we put our beeswax into kits, not jars.

  • Natural beeswax pellets
  • Pre-waxed cotton wicks

Made with heat. Handled with care.

Candle making means hot wax and open flame. Every kit ships with clear guidance — please read it before you begin.

Burning safety

Never leave a lit candle unattended. Keep away from curtains, drafts, children and pets, and burn on a heat-safe surface.

Children & supervision

Molten wax is hot. Kits involving heat are for ages 8+ with constant adult supervision — an adult always handles melting and pouring.

Beeswax allergy

Beeswax allergies are rare but real. If you're sensitive to bee products, please check before handling, and stop if irritation occurs.

Your first pour is waiting.
